Has anyone had experience with DXM abuse/use? My son (18) drank an entire bottle of delsym with is straight DXM and he took 4 cold capsules with DXM at same time. He is also on cymbalta, depakota, risperdal, and klonopin bc he tried to kill himself. He has had the hiccups for 3 days/24 hours a day and nothing will stop them. Could this be from the DXM. I also read that hiccups is a sign of renal failure. Any help would be appreciated.
