hi roxy, the post almost seemed to be answering your own question. if you've had a problem in the past with an addictive drug which xanex is...it's an opiate derivative...your casually using it again may very easily take you back down the wrong road, imho. i'd suggest you discuss this with your pdoc. if he says u shouldn't use xanex again it be be wise to tell your gp that this drug should not be prescribed for you. i had a simliar situation with xanex and now i write on the doctor form when i change doctors that this drug should not be prescribed for me. that way i don't have that temptation to go around that bend again.
