not to worry you but with your son being on those other meds, i wonder if his dxm use is not a cocktail for disaster. i do not add any drugs to my mix unless i ask my pdoc first. your son is fragile right now and it wouldn't help for him to tip the scales against his favor. good luck and hope this helps. maybe a call to his pdoc would be a good idea regardless of whether his hiccups go away or not.
