I met a guy. I can't even believe I agreed to go on a first date never mind actually getting there and being with someone I don't know, having to talk to him. Yesterday I saw him again and I just came out of my shell, which I never do - always really shy for ages when I don't know someone. We talked and laughed all night, didn't even realise for how long. It was 2.30am when I saw the time! So, I will get a lot of grief from my parents when they get home today... but I'm going to enjoy the happiness while it lasts.
So I'm also happy that I've made a step forward by actually talking to someone, being with someone and being with them on my own despite the nerves and anxiety.
