You never have to feel alone and unloved because there is always someone there for everyone.The feelings of despair and frustration that you think there is never going to be a special person in your life is perfectly normal , It is a scary feeling but a normal one . we all feel it at one time or another. but it will pass and you will wonder what all the fuss was about 
Seeing that you have found this forum many people will be able to offer support and love to you and friendly advice so you don't feel so alone.
It isnt just a girl thing either . many young men run around in circles feeling lost and frightened of the future but there is always a light out there guiding you/them just take a deep breath and keep going until the fear is replaced by hope and love.
I hope that breaks the feeling of being alone for you
