I listen to audiobooks when I drive so that I don't float entirely away. For driving back after therapy, it has to be a story that really had my interest. I can't start a new one then, or I'll be gone and won't hear it at all, or remember that I'm driving. Gum can help too. Also, asking yourself questions about the scenery and consciously making an effort to notice it. And singing out loud.
