How weird.

My first reaction is to think that the man is an idiot. But it could have been his attempt at chatting to you - he spotted your charm!!! My reaction would have been to go bright red and try to ignore him. But jumping off the machine is probably a better idea I hate gyms, wild horses wouldn't drag me to one, and I think you are doing great by going there!!!!
