Yes, if I sleep less than 8 hours due to increase activity but more irritability and mood fluctuated too. I was told that it is an essential to sleep 8 hours consistent everyday which helps the mood more manageable. Practise and self-discipline with sleep routine is important for bipolar disorder. I notice it's working but as long as you keep yourself in discipline with your sleeping pattern (not easy to keep up with routine!)
