When I was in college, I went to a weekend leadership event with a group of other students. One time, the host had us play this game in where we are blindfolded and being led by the host to do whatever. It was so frustrating for me because I'm deaf and blind. My eyes are my ears. (One eye, really. I was born blind in my left eye with a little sight.) So, it was an experience I don't want to have again. Hehe.

Funniest thing is while growing up, I practiced going to the bathroom blind-style. In other words, no lights whatsoever. Even in a bathroom with no window. Oh, I just remembered something! When I was deep down in the Wyandotte Cave and all of us turned our flashlights off. Amazing darkness!

For some reason, I'm so curious in how your reader works. I'm glad that you are doing ok and that you have a good teacher who understands a bit about M.S. I haven't figured out how the stick works, except to tap it on the ground or floor to make sure there is no drop or an obstruction. Am I right with that one?
