Griffe, I too, have been hearing the same type of sounds. It also sounds like a detuned TV or radio. It usually sounds like a conversation between 2 people -- always low-toned, never shouting. My husband never hears it. This has been going on for a couple of years. I hear the sounds always, always, early in the a.m. when absolutely nothing is turned on and no one is talking. It's really strange. So strange I can't talk to anyone else about it, but you.
