There isn't any sat "gay culture" it's not all what you see on tv and in movies.
Not all of us talk with a lisp, wear tight jeans and act like sl*ts. It's mostly just a sterotype. There are gay guys who are "regular guys" as you put it. You can't actually tell if someone is gay just by looking at them in real life... We aren't walking around with signs over our heads or something.
Everyone has a "type" some people like blondes, redheads, people who are funny, tall, short etc and it's no different with homosexuals. I prefer if a guy is taller than me and I like skaters...
Liking the general "mans-man" just means that thats you type.
It's a matter of what you like in a partner...
