I know what you mean, neri. Sometimes escaping into a fantasy world through movies or a good book is just what you need. It's dissociation, but it's a normal type of dissociation that anybody might do. Not a sign of anything wrong, unless you do it so much that you aren't living your own life. And some parts are harder to watch than others. You might want to take note of the things that are difficult for you and see if you can figure out why (or maybe you know). Those are things that it will probably help you to work through in therapy.
