The spoon throwing thing.. I use visual anologies sometimes i place of words.

so throwing spoons against the wall meant its okay to be angry for a while .

Ive crashed a few plate fulls of food in my time out of frustration .

I was very angry with not being able to stop and then I woud cry.

Hope you can get back on track soon .
