It is way harder to read, if it isn't your mothertounge.
I know it works in every romanistic language, but only if you have seen the word before...

Also I can't belive only 55% can read it, did they count analphabets to the 100%?
As far as I know, everyone who can read properly can read the text, you don't need a twisted brain...
