hi kk, congrats!!! on your first week back at work. it does take a while to get back into the rhythm of working. one of the things that really helps my bpd is balance in my day. when you described what you had done over the weekend, it exhausted me a bit! and this right after your first wekk back at work. it doesn't sound like you gave yourself time to rest and relax much in preparation for this second week of work. well the beatles thing was cool but it kept you out late. so you may want to keep relatively balanced time over the weekends and after you get home from work each day, like going to bed about the same time each nite, starting to do life stuff a little at a time rather than leaping back into the mainstream of living. know you are happy to be back to life so to speak, but being kind to ourselves and pacing ourselves is a key to our success with bpd. even now if i'm over tired, hungry, etc. it can upset my apple cart. so for me balance in my life is the key. as you grow "stronger" you can do a late nite, help move a friend etc. and not feel on overload. i hoep this helps you as it has me.
