All my life my mother has had mental problems. In the begining I thought it was hormones, then her very abussive ex husband, then her loosing her husband of 12 years now she is in a mental hospital for bipolar disorder. I went to visit her and she started crying begging me to get her out of there. She is now in the hand of the state and I don't know what to do, if there is anything I can do. I realize that she does need help, Is this normal for patients to expirence? If there is anyone out there that can offer insight , please do so.
