Although I did not know her directly, I knew most of her friends and I think I may have met her at some point.:

Saturday night, a 29-year-old woman drowned when she accidentally rode a snowmobile into open water in Bathurst Harbour, near the marina.

A woman who was travelling with her on another snowmobile was not injured.

An emergency worker said a friend who lived nearby tried to rescue the woman in the water and was injured in the process.

A search was carried out Saturday evening and early Sunday morning, but was called off due to high tides and strong currents.

Gisele still has not been found. Due to weather, they are unable to search for her or send divers down. It is assumed she is not alive.

My heart is breaking for this is absolutely preventable.. and happened so quickly. Please pray that the Lord guides her home after her horrible passing..
