I think vaginas are both beautiful and weird, and the same for penises. Also, sexy for both, too. Although, in truth, let's get the terminology right:

The VULVA is the entire area "down there," the vagina, the inner lips, outer lips, clitoris, clitoral hood, and all those goodies. (The outer lips are known as the "labia majora.")

The VAGINA is the inside of the vaginal, or inner, lips. (The inner lips are also known as the "labia minora.")

You should look at your vulva, get to know it, understand it. It's really important to know all of your body (and what goes in and out of it--yes, that includes poop). Your health and knowing what's normal and not for you is important.

As for vulvas, and what's normal or not in how it looks, don't get too freaked out if yours is different from another's. Some vulvas are smaller, bigger, fatter. Some vaginal lips are longer, uneven, or shorter. (If your lips are so long that they cause discomfort or pain when a man or sex toy enters you, there is surgery that can help.) The lips may be lighter or darker than another woman's, pinker or purpler (see? I made up a word, LOL!). You might have more hair naturally or less. Like penises, vulvas and vaginas come in all shapes and sizes.

As for decorating, you can style the hair (depending how long it is), dye it, trim it into shapes, shave it off completely, tattoo the area (OUCH!), pierce the clitoris (OUCHOUCHOUCH!) or vaginal lips (EEK!), and I'm sure there are other ideas you can come up with.

I recently heard a name for the vagina that I think is very cute: "Penis cozy."
