Skymonk, Its no fun dealing with pain in the body or mind I hope you find a med that helps you hun

I take Tramadol for pain and Xanax for anxiety. I have found that either med will trigger nightmares if I take them to close to bed. I have noticed it more with the xanax though, I have to be VERY careful when taking those to close to bed time they seem to trigger extreme night terrors. Ones that i have had stay in my memory as if it were real.

It took me a little while to notice that it was the pills that where the cause of the nightmares and once i figgured it out i have managed to not have such extreme dreams.

I would suggest anyone that has night terrors or bad dreams think of what you took within an hour or so before bed. At night before i go to bed i subsistitute my Tramadole with 800 ml. of ibuprophen this has seemed to help a great deal.
