Hi teary_me. I understand what you're feeling.. it's really frustrating to want to get out of your depression but just CAN'T. It's great that you're seeing both a psychologist and psychiatrist. Their help will probably be the best help you can get right now. But, don't be afraid to switch to another psychologist or psychiatrist if you feel you're not getting anywhere with one or the other.
As for your dad, I agree with Mellie (Sad_In_TX). Explain to him how your feeling and that you don't mean to push him away but you just can't help it. Keep going out and doing things with your dad even when you don't feel up to it. In the long run, it will help you out. Also, what about your friends? Can you make plans to hang out with them more often? Sometimes it's easier to have fun with and talk to your friends than your parents.
