My dad is big in my life, too. Daddy's girl all the way! I've been diagnosed bipolar but depression is my biggest issue. It was recommended by my doc for my dad to read the Manic Depression Workbook in order to gain some insight into what it is that I go through. My dad read it and he says it really helped him understand me in a whole new way. The things he's seen me do over the years, etc. Maybe it would help your dad too? Just a thought/suggestion.
