Hi Everyone,
I am so angry and frustrated. I recently transferred jobs and I had a contract with them. I was to be on probation for 3 months and then become a regular employee. I turned three months last week and they told me (together with another person who started approx. same time as me) that our probationary period was going to be extended by another three months. Nothing wrong with us except that the company wants to make sure we are a right fit. It turns out that this is not the first time this company does this. They did this to another batch of hires a year ago and their probationary period was extended as well. I am so pissed off because I feel like I have been tricked. If that is how the company operates, fine but we should have been told from the start that it would be six months prob. Its like they suck you in and then tell you the bad news and too late for you to have other options.
I would like to look for another job but I know that is not the right thing to do after all since it is not a reflection on me and it is them.
Any suggestions on dealing with this? How can i channel this anger out? I wish I had spoken my mind out when HR spoke to me instead of just letting them see that I was not happy.
