Yes, for me anxiety is not about being frightened of something, like grizzly bears etc. In fact, if I was in an anxiety state and a grizzly bear wandered up, I don't think I would even notice!

I think the key is that GAD anxiety is a state. It's a state that you take with you all day long sometimes. You have to deal with it at the root, which is possible. Sometimes other people hardly notice, if you can get your strategies in place.

A friend of mine once said, "You do a good impression of being relaxed." That was the best I could manage at the time. Anxiety is bum deal, we all know that, but it's surprising how much you can do with the right strategies.

Here in the UK we have a phone helpline called 'No Panic', is there anything like that where you are Grey?
