I hear what your saying but I so know where your loved ones are coming from. My husband of 13 yrs was diagnosed a year ago and was refusing meds. Life was hell. Have you looked at why they want you on them?? Ask for specific reasons, do your research. Most bp people need meds to function. Are you able to leave your house? Do you hold a conversation? Do you take care of yourself like bathing or eating without having to be reminded? Are you having suicidal thoughts?? Spending extravengantly?
Just trying to explain from the familys point of view, that we love our bp's so much and do not want to see them suffering, hurting or being self distructive. We as loved ones want to help and we can see things that the bp esp in an episode can not.
