Manda~~I'm having the same experience. What meds do you take for depression? I have lost both my Dad and my Mom in the past 2 years, along with a LOT of other mind/emotion boggling events...and I feel numb as well. I was on Paxil, it stopped working(and cause a lot of weight gain). My doctor put me on Effexor and Buspirone, along with a very low dose of thyroid med (even tho that is normal) to boost the meds. I have no problem feeling "down"--but "joy" seems to totally escape me. If I don't feel pain, I feel nothing...
