Ok... so I go to my AA home group. You'd think that would be a safe and good place to be when you feel the tides turning from bleak depression to mania, especially when the home group members all know what I've been dealing with as of late. So, I'm all goofy and giddy and happier than I've been in months... accidentally drop my cell phone in the toilet before the meeting (quite funny, actually, but I'll save that for later).

The meeting gets out, and it was a really good meeting. We all make plans to go out for a bite, and I leave with my sponsee so she can cash her paycheck and we can grab my spare cell, and then we'd meet them.

We get the errands run, pull into the restaurant, and no one is there. I make calls to find everyone... no one answers. Then I call the last person that was supposed to be there... and he says, and I quote "Well, no one pays any attention to a ditzy broad". That hurt like hell... and I hung up on him. Everyone in the group thinks that its funny that they all changed their minds and neglected to call me and tell me... disregarding the fact that the restaurant is 15 miles from my home, or any of that. I'm hurt. I'm actually considering bailing on them... making my home away from home group my home group, and leaving them. Its just wrong, in my opinion, to laugh at someone elses expense.

Am I overreacting? I am so mad right now. Anyone with advice?
