Well low and behold, I broke out in a rash from lamictal 3 days later-kind of like a sunburn-my son had a psychiatrist appointment (same pdoc) and I went and showed pdoc the rash but he couldnt see me and told me to come back in a couple of weeks, well that kind of made me mad so I went back to me regular doctor because he seems to care a little bit more and he takes time with me and knows my history. I didn't go back to regular doctor until 3 more weeks later. I already had prescription for klonopin. He increased dose of lexapro. The pharmacy put the klonopin prescription on hold because I didn't need it because I already had one. Well last week the pharmacy faxed my doctor renewal for klonopin prescription and the pharmacy left message on my phone that there was a prescription ready for pick up so my husband went for me and it was a prescription for klonopin, this was in the 2nd of april. I took it back today because I didn't need it because I already have one. I returned it got my money back and told the pharmacy a mistake was made, not sure how, but a mistake was made, but I was honest and I took the medicine back because I don't want to get in trouble for having double prescriptions in one month and I am not really sure how the pharmacy made the mistake of filling it when they just filled one for me on the 24th of march from psychiatrist. What I want to know is am I in trouble for this, can I go to jail. Or did I protect myself by taking prescription back. I have not seen psychiatrist since march 10th and I am just seeing my regular doctor, but I guess when the pharmacy saw that my prescription needed to be refilled, they faxed the doctor, even though I had seen a psychiatrist at this point and had a prescription for klonopin already. Anyways, I returned the medication and it shows in their computer that the medication was returned. I have horrible anxiety and this is really bothering me.
I was briefly on lamictal after I had horrible reactions to Abilify...
I remember they were really consern about the possible rash thing. They said i should stop it immediately & contact a doctor. I didn't get a rash but that med was useless, other than making me feel like a zombie

I wouldn't worry, your not going to go to jail for that...it was an honest mistake

plus jails are so over crowded with real criminals & people for smoking weed, they probably wouldn't have room for you
