does anyone else get strange dreams? i get them a lot but esp when i'm in a not quite stable phase. i rarely get nightmares but my dreams are intense and vivid and i almost always remember them in detail. they are so weird, they really freak me out - if not outright scare me. my ex t was a dream analyser and he worked through some for me, he said that if you go downstairs it's the subconscious coming into play.

i think dreams are a filing cabinet system - ie every random thought you've had that day/week are sitting in a disordered pile in your mind and your brain needs to tidy up and file them. which explains why seemingly random things go together in dreams.

i had one the other day where i was an 8yr old boy who was desperate to kill myself and i had this spirit following me but i wasn't sure what and then i hung myself and it turned out the thing was my dad who blamed me for my little brother's death! weird huh? esp since i'm a girl of 28 whose brothers are both alive and well...
