Thank you all. The flesh won't pop out. I mean, it does, but it sucks back in, so I don't think it's loose flesh from the piercing procedure, that is still wedged in there. Also, I had it pierced quite awhile back, but just decided to let it heal up recently, so it seems it would have come out by now? Healing has went badly for one side. It is swollen on that side and red. I went to see a nurse practitioner today. She said it does look like a wart is popping out when I push on it, but before I pushed on it, she thought it looked like a normal little infection. She said she has never seen one in such a place before. She said she can't say for sure what it is, and I should go see a dermatologist for a biopsy and removal. I am broke and need a root canal, so I dunno how to afford this, but I have to try. I'm really worried it might be contagious and incurable. I told them to test me for hpv last time I was there when they did my pap, and I also asked for them to test for some other stds. They never said they couldn't. My test results were fine. But it turns out, I was NOT tested for hpv, and never informed that I couldn't be or wasn't.
