Ok my husband loves numbers. Which is'nt odd I don't guess. But he has to count every word whether it is said or written. It actually zones him out when your trying to talk to him sometimes because he is going over a particular word over in his head till he's sure the number is right. He also has this thing where he counts the "points" on peoples faces. Example: A woman has 16 points and a man has 18 points. I don't know what points he's talking about He said something about the ears corners of the mouth temples...he lost me about there. I told him he sounded like he had OCD but he associates OCD with his mom who has a germ phobia and constantly cleans as does his mamaw. He thinks all OCD's are cleaning/germ related. I told him OCD can be thought related and many other things but he won't go to a doctor. I think it's because his family sees him as already sick because he has severe Crohns and he don't want another disorder. But the way he describes this obbsession (he's had it since elementry school) sounds to me like he has OCD. He does'nt mind it. He said it helps him concentrate. I don' t see how but he says it does. He knows I come to this site and how it helps me so mabye if someone here gave their opinion, he will listen to me and get help before it gets bad if it can.Thank you Sorry so long by the way
