I'm sure he justifies himself in his mind like you said. I hope he is feeling guilty and this is why he is denying it. Although I don't hate him, I don't really feel like making time to see him these days. He still scares me even now. I have to wonder how my mother puts up with him. In her time, divorce was never an option and she probably thinks its too late now anyway. They are both in their 70's.
