Hi Melis85, welcome to PC!

Everyone is different and get the most help out of different things. A lot of people find that it's actually a combination of things that help get them out of their depression. For me it was meds, an amazing counsellor and a few lifestyle changes. Have you been to see a doctor or a mental health professional about how you're feeling? If you really don't want to go on meds, they would be the best ones to ask about alternative treatments if you're depressed. The meds aren't generally that bad, or at least they weren't for me. Is there a particular reason you don't want them?

Also, have you tried talking to anyone about how you're feeling? Sometimes it helps just to unload, vent for a while to a friend or family member who supports you, especially if you think there's something specific triggering all this. I would still suggest that you talk to a professional right away. There are physical problems that can also present with symptoms of depression, and it's always good to get checked out and get that out of the way, then you can decide where you want to go from there.

Good luck!

Bring on the wonder, we got it all wrong,
we pushed you down deep in our souls, so hang on.
Bring on the wonder, bring on the song,
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long.
