and then with her head down, she continued to walk down the parking lot.

I like your attitude Patricia! It makes me remember who I once was! Some days I can handle the none responses, and then other days it seems I need to see someone smile back or say something back in order to feel like I'm "alive" that I'm worthy to be here! It's a difficult thing to deal with when you're trying to cope with depression, but thanks for the story!
I actually had a similiar story yesterday where somene thanked me for some information that I gave them online and that blew me away, made my day!
