For years, my OCD manifested itself as an unshakeable fear that I had AIDS. I was treated with medication and CBT, and was pretty much symptom free for about 10 years. During the past year, however, I have become convinced that (a) the world is going to end soon, and (b) I'm going to go to Hell because there isn't enough time to repent of my sins even though I try to make it to church every Sunday and pray pretty much on a daily basis. My compulsion in all of this seems to be spending hours checking news and religious sites on the Internet. I did some research and couldn't find any instances of people having OCD take this kind of manifestation. Do any of you know whether this is OCD or is it something else?
