Hi deacon.....welcome!! Know what you mean about getting it done......been there a few times. BPD is not something you can rush though(sorry!) It is a complex, sometimes very frustrating disorder.......some people cope better than others and some get better faster than others. For me personally, i just had to work very hard.
They say there is no cure.......or thats what I was told 15 years ago but I live with my borderline self quite well now and have been able to form good relationships(not without its ups and downs!) and raise my son. I have also lost much. You say you have lived misdx for 25 years. What were you dx with originally? I wonder if you could apply any of your previous cognitive techniques to your current position?
