whew youome, that's a lot of stuff going on. i can understand why it is stressing you out. i believe you are correct about the father having rights before you but is he in the child's life at all to even care about what happens to his son? the authorities would be obligated to advise him of the situation if your sister's actions are known. so yes you're in a difficult position.i'd suggest that you seek some guidance on all this...right now your neph is with you all, right? i believe you could apply for some assistance thru the state if you are caring for him. food stamps, a monetary allottment, and medical coverage. don't know if any other family members would help out on this, taking care of your neph, so you can focus your attention on your own needs at this time. i'm sorry you are going thru such a rough time of it. know you care about your neph too. will keep you in my thoughts.
