It is okay, you are okay. Night for a lot of us is harder than the day is. It is a time that maybe triggering for us and a time when we remember being more vulnerable than in the day. I know that is true for me. I have to work on that a lot. There is nothing wrong with you.
The light of day, you can see things clearly or that is how I feel but nighttime seems to make things hazy as our minds can go back. Time is what it takes. Have you tried journaling during the day how you feel? Talking to your t is very important as h/she can give you advice on how to cope too.
You did nothing wrong and are doing nothing wrong. I understand the tears and the not sleeping. I sleep more during the day because I cannot at night. I watch tv, draw, write, get here on PC and talk to someone, reach out and ask someone to sit with me---whatever it takes to get through. You did the right thing by posting. Keep posting. Someone is around and cares--I do.
