But the thing is I don't need to talk to a therapist! If I want to have conversations with someone about my hopes, fears, feelings etc., I've got my husband and I can and do tell him anything I want without worries and if I want advice, I've found his is always worth consideration. Even if I want to talk or rant to him about him, he's good. I'm not really sure what the point of a psychologist is when you've already got at least one person that you can talk to about life in general.

I've been to a psychologist before, but I only lasted the one appointment because I thought he was silly. He wanted to go CBT which is apparently great for depression, and while he was sitting there explaining the basics, I was sitting there going, oh yes, I know.
