A cyst in your brain could be many things, both benign and serious. Same with the heart abnormalities. Did they say what kind of abnormalities? There are ways of treating all of the above - some less fun than others. It doesn't always involve surgery, but it can. Sometimes radiation can be used to reduce the size of cysts and in the case of MS, interferon may be used similarly. More tests would need to be run to find out exactly what's going on. If it is nothing detrimental to your health they may just monitor you until complications occur. There are many things that can go untreated without any problems for years (if not your whole life time... until old age). Keep your head up. Something can be found on almost any one who gets put through an MRI. Talk with your doc. If he has any concerns I'm sure he would have told you (hopefully), but if you are worried, that's what he and the nurses are there for. Write out any questions you may have so you can be prepared.

Good luck!
