I just used the Monostat 1 treatment last night for my first yeast infection (somebody throw a party, it's a MILESTONE. Whoopee). It says on the box that most women will be "cured" within seven days, but should I wait longer before having sex? I've recently entered a relationship with an AMAZING guy, and we both want to get a move on, but it's kind of embarrassing to say, "Nope! I have a yeast infection." Heck, it's even embarassing to lie and say, "I'm on my period." >.<''''''

Oh, and would it make a difference if I'm a virgin?
