Recently, in the past month, I went on a spending binge, buying a lot of big ticket items I really didn't need: all new kitchen appliances, complete redo of landscaping, an expensive ring. For almost a year, I had saved money instead of spending. It's like I was outside myself observing me doing this. Prior-ly to this, I was proud that I had managed to save some money for a change, but then all Hell broke loose, and I went kinda wild! Sounds kinda bipolar, but I've never had such a diagnosis.

Well, has the spending hurt you financially? If not, then don't worry about it.

seeker1950, do you view the spree as a problem? If so, do you have a plan to prevent another spree from occurring?
