If you are questioning the use of sleeping pills to help you through distressing times, I would say you are inappropriately dealing with the symptoms rather than getting to the core problems that compose the malaise.

genn, congratulations of being clean from the pills for two months...
jme/jmo, but the first several months we go without our drug of choice is the hardest. it took awhile before my thoughts about them eased off. the longer you stay clean, the easier it will be to find the issues that led you to use them...then you can start working on them. the thoughts you are having about the pills aren't good or normal; they just are...understandable when you are taking your first steps in dealing life without them. it does get better Catherine
