Hi everyone,
I got home yesterday from my trip to AZ. It was awesome. The resort was fantastic, and thy upgraded my room from a regular room to a junior suite. I had a lovely day at the spa Thurs before my brother and his wife arrived, and then spent Fri. and Sat. just hanging out by the pool reading, knitting, and just generally daydreamin. Had some really nice visists with my brother too. I wanted to drink a couple of times - mainly by the pool and seeing all the cold beer, but I stuck to smoothies and ice cold diet coke. Did have one bad thing happen. I stupidly didn't ask if there was wine in the sauce on the pasta one night (I'm on antabuse) and there was. Funnily I didn't get a normal antabuse reaction. I didn't get flushed, my heart didn't race, just about 90 min. after I'd eaten I became suddenly and violently ill throwing up. 10 min. later i felt fine. But believe me everytime after that I checked. Now it's back to the real world of classes and job hunting. --splitimage

That's great and congrats on not drinking!! That's a shame that there was alcohol in the sauce ~ they should have told you!!
 I guess that Antabuse really works, huh?  Anyway, I'm glad you had a good time! It's nice to get away. Thanks for letting us know how it went -- i was wondering. Hugs Lee |

good news SI!!!! a thought...since you were around beer, etc. stay vigilant right now. alcohol being insidious. the beer, etc will possibly trigger you after the fact. glad u had a good time.
