"Mary Jane you keep me sane" - where does this come from, is it from a song? Is there a video to listen to? I'm trying to figure out how to respond when someone keeps repeating this phrase.

Maybe from a Tom Petty song? I don't know all the lyrics to his "Last Dance with Mary Jane," or perhaps a line from a movie. Yeah, that sounds right, the phrase does sound familiar, now you got me curious . . .

I took the tip from Running EagleRuns and googled, "Mary Jane you make me insane." and got a link to the youtube video for a band called Vindiktive and their song "Getting Blowed"- I looked up the lryics: http://amsterdam.me/en/videos.php?pa...id=Y5ivr3AyktE It sounds like this might be where it came from and perhaps your friend has changed the lryics a bit to his/her liking. . ?
