Thought i'd present an idea. would those of you in RECOVERY be interested in a SOBRIETY Social Group?

I would! Although, preferably with those who have some time in AA. Not meant to be exclusionary but just my personal preference.
Some guidelines regarding the sharing of support and experience rather than the opposite would be necessary in my book. I also think a leader sort of person/moderator might be necessary to help sort out any possible "issues". ![]()

Sounds like a good idea but not sure I can deal with another sub-forum. I think people, myself included, just need to get better at developing filters. I'm in favor of keeping it all here and not branching out into yet another forum.

Sure, I'd be interested! I think it's a good idea -- Recovery SHOULD include having friends, and talking about things that are NOT recovery related.
