...how abundant is the shame of the true alcoholic??

a nasty life threatening dirty thing.
despised by the sober is the dirty mood of the pissed human.

even I know this!

it's exactly what makes sobriety possible!

and yet I crossed the line to prove yet again that I am what?

not thirsty
not stupid
not ridiculous.....

just not ready to give myself any more ****!

should a relapse be the end of the freaking world??(not endorsing)

shame will only spend my money at the bottle shop.

we must support each other.

reasons are personal
ideals are not welcome.

the alcoholic does not find shame....

he is shame

you, as we all, when we choose to imbribe are powerless over the drug/and alcohol, DM.
one is too many and a thousand are not enough.
shame-can so identify with that feeling in early sobriety. we feel like a lowly worm...my description.

do u feel that you r shame and why? those of us who cross that imaginary line have a recognized disease by the AMA, etc. so imo we are not shame but sick ppl who are trying to get well.
