I was wondering, they gave me that, 80mg & I had only ever had xanax and easy stuff. I stopped as soon as I got home, & WOW what hell I lived thru for 48hrs! I thought I was gonna die!

I know that I'm physically dependent on my clonazapam, but I don't call it an addiction because I don't abuse it. I did go without it for 3 days because we were having trouble getting hold of my doc to call in a refill & I was really sick - it was way worse than alcohol withdrawal.
I've also heard nasty things about withdrawing from Effexor which I've been on for years at a high dose, so I suspect coming off it, we'd be talking months not weeks. splitimage
