I had periods of being clean, now i feel like im stuck. With all the tools ive learned i still cant help myself get to help. Any takers?

No one can make you do it, but you! Dust off those tools and use them! I think you really have to want to, at least that is where I am at! I hope you get the want to!

Gma is right. You have to want sobriety more than ANYTHING ELSE before you are going to get clean/sober. If you don't, then you're just not going to make it. When I joined AA, I wanted it more than life itself, cause that's what it meant! If I didn't get sober that time, I was gonna die! Simple as that.
So if you're ready to give up people, places & things and everything else to get sober -- then you just might make it. ![]() ![]()

Follow what the winners do, and speak up at meetings about how hopeless you feel. take a mustard seed of hope and let it grow. show up for LIFE. at one time we all had lost hope yet we did what needed to be done and fought for our life. you can too if you truly want it. giving in to alcohol means you lose, alcohol wins. is your life worth throwing away? you are more deserving than that.
