There's an online recovery conference starting Sept. 28 running for either 5 or 7 days with 35 speakers talking about recovery from different view points. One of the speakers is Dr. Gabore Mate, who used to work with really hardcore drug addicts in Vancouver's lower east side - which is arguably one of Canada's worst neighbourhoods.

Each speaker will be available to watch for 24 hours after their initial presentation.

Interesting. Did anyone end up checking this out? I just checked out the link and it seems they want $99 for it now but it looks like there's some cool stuff.
