I realize this will be a process and possibly be a false start but you gotta start somewhere. She has been drinking most of the day now, blackouts, etc. So, I am grateful and I just wanted to put it out there.

Going to AA is a big start. Hope she can get the help she needs there. One day at a time.

I hope your sister can break the cycle of unmanageable drinking with the help of AA. I'm sending my best wishes.
